Elreno Oklahoma Sports

It's time to break down the first of what are known as "previews," which give a quick look at the best high school football players in Oklahoma State. Tuttle, Bethany, she's one of the most talented and, it must be said, most athletic girls in Oklahoma football. Class 4A National Championship this preseason and She is a two-time state champion in her junior year at Oklahoma State.

Coach Langston and Coach Bailey could have gone in a different direction, but they had faith in them and kept them. Hilldale has been a really good football team all season, and Tuttle really knocked the Hornets down in the quarterfinals. It might not have looked like it, but the Chiefs would have turned it around and been one of the best teams in Oklahoma State football this season.

If necessary, the Chargers may well go into the air to win, but Heritage Hall can certainly do it. I know they will be beaten and I'm sure they won't, so look at them as a very good team with a lot of talent in their squad.

This team has been overlooked all year but the way they play will be a tough business for them.

The junior quarterback and defensive end has scored 1,234 yards and 24 touchdowns on 177 carries this season and added 2,405 yards with 25 touchdowns while completing 156 of 241 passes. He is 2-for-442 yards, 38 touchdowns, 367 carries and one more game. The Tigers are averaging nearly 400 yards per game on the ground and are coming off a game in which they ran for more than 300 yards in the second half against Texas A & M. Kingfisher was burned for a career-high 467 yards total offense against the Aggies last week. And he is no stranger to scoring against good teams.

With 259 points, he currently ranks fifth in the school's career list, second only to all kickers. He was named 2006 AFL2 kicker of the year and later made the Central All-Century team. He had a league-high 179 kickoff points in the regular season in 2007, earning him the AFL Kickers' Year award, and he was a second-team pick in 2008 after helping San Jose to an AFL championship.

Truelove had 182 yards on 29 carries and had over 1,500 yards for the Tigers this season. He finished his career with a high 4.5 yards per carry, with his defense doing the rest, and he had a school-record 6.1 yards per carry average.

Carl Alberts, Dadrion "Rabbit" Taylor, who is coming off a monster game against Collinsville, and the rest of the Tigers defence.

The El Reno High School product spent four years (2001-04) with the Bronchos and is known for his skills on the field and in the locker room. Haglund scored five field goals in his high school football career and finished as the school's lone scorer, most recently with a 4.5 percent conversion rate in 2016. A.J. spent one season with Oklahoma City Yard Dawz (areanafootball2.0) before graduating from UCO and playing for Oklahoma State University for three seasons (2009-10). He scored five field goals, still a record held by only one other player in school history, and one of only three in NCAA Division II history.

I feel the Tigers' basic play and excellent defence have done just enough to knock the champion off and I will stick to that mentality. I'd love to piggyback off Swisher and offer an apology to the team's west side, but I could still be embarrassed if I'd picked Brimstone to beat the Chargers in the final start of the playoffs.

I should mention here that I had Berryhill who made it to the title game at Heritage Hall, so I feel really good in Poteau. I picked the Pirates at the worst possible time when injuries started to pile up but I'm happy to see Ardmore as a reason for a change. Not many teams have opted for a deep run, especially after failing to get to the first round in three of the last four years. I was back with them before the playoffs started and You can publicly shame me for that.

Garrison said the incident lasted five to 10 minutes and that he received a tornado warning on his phone, but the siren went off only after the twister hit. The hospital treated 13 patients injured by the tornado, three of whom were in critical condition, the statement said.
